Chapter 14: Almost a Year!!

Greetings everyone! We hope you have had a great summer. This was our first summer in Ireland and there are definitely differences between Ireland and Tennessee. The sun sets much later and rises much earlier. I recall still seeing sunlight at 10:30pm and seeing the first glimmer of sunlight in the sky at 4:45am. Very different than a summer in Tennessee. Also...we can't say we miss 95 degrees and 100% humidity. Summer here has been much more mild than that. Nate and Abbey came to visit which was the highlight of our summer for sure!
The beginning of September will mark one year of us living in Ireland. On one hand it's amazing that it's already been one year but on the other hand we feel like we've lived here for years. God has really been faithful to us and we look forward to this next year! Saoirse will begin attending a Montessori school this upcoming Monday. She has already had a few "trial days" and seems to enjoy being there. Saoirse loves being around other kids so the transition should be easy. She will be going Monday through Friday 9:15-1:15. Beth's job has been going well. She's so awesome at what she does, management has asked her if she's interested in becoming a preceptor. Did I mention that Beth is awesome? I continue to lead worship at Cornerstone Church and ICEJ meetings. I thank God for the gift of music and how He allows us to express our love for Him through melodies and rhythm. We serve a living God. Leading worship for Cornerstone and the ICEJ are both very unique. Cornerstone is made up of Irish, Ukranian, African, Finnish, Brazilian, South African, American and much more. It's great to be a part of this body of believers. Leading worship for the ICEJ has also been a privelage. A group of people come together once a month to share their love for Jesus and Israel. Depsite what you may hear in the news about the hostility of Ireland towards the Jewish people their is a remnant here in Ireland who understand God's love for Israel and want to support them. A great group of people!!
Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported us financially and through prayer. It means so much to us. Keep running the race...don't give up...Jesus is worthy of it all!!
