Chapter 18...We made it 2 Years!

On September 2nd 2024 our plane landed in Dublin. By God's grace we've made it 2 years. God has been incredibly faithful to us despite ourselves...ha! We want to thank everyone who had prayed for us, given to us and messaged us...it means so much. Let me update you on what's going on.
Beth has been working at her new job for a few weeks now and it's been a much better fit than her previous place of employment. She's working at the hospital across town and instead of being in the Emergency Department she is working in Endoscopy. She'll finally be able to get to the "bottom" of things. Sorry...just couldn't help myself.
Currently we are living in the town of Killorglin but we are moving in September to Camp... a small town on the Dingle Peninsula. This allows us to be closer to the hospital where Beth works and to the town of Dingle where I've been leading worship and teaching at Dingle Christian Fellowship. The rent is cheaper and it will cut down on gas and drive time. Our rental house is on the property of an old dairy farm. Pretty cool.
A few weeks ago, Rob and Chris Ellis of YWAM Knoxville were here doing street evangelism and a vacation bible school in Killarney. I just want to say that Rob and Chris Ellis are great at what they do. The Vacation Bible School they did for the kids in Killarney was awesome. I led worship out in town one night and Rob joined me and played harmonica. That. Was. Awesome!
In Dingle we meet on Thursday mornings for Bible study, worship and prayer. This summer, Dingle has been holding outdoor concerts so after Bible study many of us will go and attend the concerts. Saoirse is not afraid to get up in front of everyone and dance...never a dull moment with her! It's been a great opportunity to get more acquainted with the town.
We've also been doing life with Living Rock Church in Killarney. Michael and Ninfa Robson lead this body of believers. The church has welcomed us in and I've been leading worship and speaking. I love having the opportunity to encourage believers in this part of their race.
It's a little sad to leave Killorglin but God has provided a home much closer to Beth's work so we're very grateful.
