Chapter 19: A New Season Begins!
Greetings everyone. I hope this update finds you fighting the good fight and running your race. Jesus is worth every trial and difficulty. No matter what season of life you find yourself in...fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
Beth and I have an important update to share. If you've been following the work we've been doing here in Ireland you will know that we've been serving a community of believers in the town of Dingle. Dingle Christian Fellowship meets every Thursday for Bible Study. I've been leading worship and teaching for a number of months now. I asked the Lord a few months ago that if He wanted us to place more focus and time in Dingle, to move us closer to town. The Lord opened the doors for us to move from the town of Killorglin to the little community of Camp which is on the Dingle Peninsula and closer to town.
Maureen MacEvilly has been faithfully leading DCF for many years. She's really paid the price to serve the fellowship and has become a dear friend of ours. We recently had a time together where we discussed the future of DCF and at the beginning of 2027 Maureen will be handing the leadership baton to Me and Beth. Maureen will still be a part of the fellowship. This is simply a shift of responsibility and leadership. God has and will continue to use Maureen in wonderful ways. All of us are on the cusp of a new season.
The remaining days and weeks of 2026 will serve as a time of transition for Beth and I. As I look forward to accepting this new role, Beth and I are asking if you would take this time and consider supporting us financially at the beginning of next year. Beth continues to work at the hospital in the nearby town of Tralee and that's been very important for our work here but we still need to raise additional income. We really haven't made a deliberate effort to ask for financial support up until now but we feel in order to have the time needed to focus on the fellowship in Dingle I need to raise some financial assistance. We'll be sharing more in the upcoming weeks as we are using the remaining time in 2026 as an "On Ramp" toward the season beginning in 2027. Jesus loves the Irish and so do we. I'll be releasing a new single on Apple Music, Spotify and various other digital platforms in the next few weeks. "Oh Ireland" is a prayer for the nation God called us to serve. I will let you all know when the song is released.
